What is this?

This is a very simple blog. I have joined the Head Huggers group. It's pretty simple. This is from Sue's website.

"A while back, I met a wonderful woman who happened to be going through the experience of chemotherapy.... I decided to knit her a warm, soft cap....Then, realizing there are a lot of folks out there with cold heads as a result of chemotherapy or other medical treatments, I decided to do more.... My plan is to distribute the caps to hospitals, oncology offices, hospices, etc. so that they can more readily be available to those who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy, etc. But to make it work, I need volunteers to help with the production. Won't you consider joining me?"

And so join her, I did. All I need is more yarn and other volunteers. If you are interested in making your TV watchng time productive and giving a little to those who need it so much, contact me, leave a comment below with your e-mail and I will contact you.

What a wonderful concept. You certainly get my vote for compassion.

If only I could knit!

I have been looking for a good cause to knit for, and this sounds like the perfect thing.

Can I just knit away and arrange to send you my hats as I finish them?

Hi! I'd love to help out--I knit and have lots of yarn I need to use up! Currently I'm growing out my hair to donate it as a wig, but I'd probably be able to make more hats in the time it's taking me to grow a head of hair...
